AR Video Generator Platform

A Brief Overview

This AR generation platform was created to allow for bulk upload of leads to generate personalised AR video experiences. Vidyard wanted to run a video campaign by sending out custom boxes with goodies inside (physical marketing) with augmented reality. To assist in creating each personalised experience, a platform was built to efficiently create video AR experiences.

The Features

• Ability to create manually or upload CSV full of contacts to generate unique AR links with relevant AR video content/CTA
• Filter AR campaigns based on name, company and date
• Tracking analytics on QR code scans and engagement
• QR and marker generator customisation (colour, background images, pattern ratio, dot scale)
• Basic authentication
• Dynamic generation of AR web pages based on query strings

The stack behind this platform is fairly simple.

• Svelte was used as the front end framework (I thought about SSR but it would've been overkill for this project)
• AR js library
• Firebase cloud functions
• Firebase firestore
• Firebase storage
• Algolia search
